I was born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana, and moved to the USA (Brooklyn, New York) with my Grandmother when I was 6 years old. My love for cooking started early my father owned a Guyanese restaurant in Brooklyn. I worked at the resturant every day after school. This is where I learned how to cook and provide great customer service. My Dad was committed to feeding people in the neighborhood. If you came into the restuarant and didn't have enough money, he would give them whatever they wanted, "pay me when you have it" motto. I'm committed to making healty tasting organic food. All of my recipes are inspired by Guyanese and Caribbean traditions.
